About the Role – Remote Adaptation Writer
As a Remote
Adaptation Writer, you’ll be working from home in a full-time
capacity with flexible working hours and a creative team. Your role will be to adapt translated
Webtoons and Manga (primarily from East Asia) for Western (US) audiences. You’ll be using AI-assisted tools to
enhance dialogues, tweak cultural elements, and polish storylines so they
resonate naturally with US-based listeners and readers.
This is an exciting
opportunity for writers with a keen sense of cultural nuance, excellent command
of English (especially US dialects) , and a strong interest in anime,
manga, or global storytelling.

As an Adaptation
Writer at Pocket FM, you will:
*Adapt and localize
translated dialogues and content from manga and webtoons using AI-assisted
tools.
* Edit and enhance
AI-generated text to ensure natural flow, cultural relevance, and emotional
